The Wathen-Castanos legacy began with Grandfather Wathen’s love for remodeling homes in the 1930s. Sons Spalding, Ron, Jack and Richard Sr. inherited their Grandfather’s love and formed the successful Wathen Brothers development company in the early 1950s. For nearly 90 years, the Wathen name has represented excellence in residential development in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
Today, cousins Kevin J. Castanos and Richard G. Wathen Jr. have taken the legacy and passion for building homes to a whole new level. Maintaining a tradition of excellence, the recent unveiling of the Advanced Performance Hybrid Home and the Zero Net Electric Hybrid Home, showcase why Wathen Castanos Hybrid Homes, Inc. is now building some of the most energy efficient homes in the country.
